Scott has been practicing architecture since 1971 and has loved every minute of it. He has been partner in, or owned his own business since 1981. Scott has a great ability to listen to, understand and incorporate his client's visions and goals into extraordinary works of architecture. Scott comes from a family geared toward architecture. His father, Stanley Charles Evans practiced architecture for many years in Utah and was the inspiration that led Scott into the industry. Scott's younger brother Rex has also practiced architecture for many years in Utah and currently in Nevada. Now, three of Scott's four sons have been blended into his business in various capacities.
Scott is a firm believer that his firm cannot be successful unless his client's are successful. Helping our clients be successful is a goal that Scott and his staff work hard towards achieving day-in and day-out.
In Scott's spare time he enjoys spending time with family and camping / traveling with his wife. Recently Scott and his wife were able to spend several weeks throughout Europe which had been a life long dream.
Gregory T. Evans
Greg Evans has been working along side his father Scott since he was a teenager. At the beginning stages of his career Greg provided hand drafting services for the firm. When computer aided drafting became available Greg became very proficient in AutoCad. Today Greg has honed his skills in Autodesk Revit. When Revit first came out Greg identified its value and understood that the industry would eventually move in that direction. We have now been using this powerful program since 2004. Greg drafted the first Revit produced project for the State of Utah.
Greg produces construction document and details that are unmatched in the industry. Time and time again our client's and construction partners have commented that our company produces the best set of drawings they've ever seen. This level of quality and attention to detail has consistently translated in to minimal change orders and confusion by our contractors.
When Greg's not at work he enjoys spending time with his five children and six grandchildren. Greg is also a professional architectural photographer on the side. Visit gregevansphotography.com to see his work.
Jakob B. Evans
Jakob Evans has had a deep interest in drafting since his sophomore year at Bountiful High School. Learning this new skill at school as well as at home, where he had AutoCad available to him, he became an exceptional draftsman in a short period of time. By the end of his sophomore year he was helping teach the class.
Jakob still excels in his ability to produce quality construction documents. Jakob has the ability to produce great drawings in a short period of time. This has proven to be very useful when working with clients with tight schedules. Jakob puts his heart and soul into his drawings.
One of the highlights of Jakob's career was producing drawings for a complicated remodel and addition to an elementary school that his grandfather originally designed.
In Jakob's spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, tinkering with his classic 1966 Ford Mustang and supporting the University of Utah sports teams.
