DNR CEDAR CITY REGIONAL OFFICE BUILDING
This beautiful facility which was completed in September of 2015 serves as the face of the Department of Natural Resources in the Southwest Region of the state. Housed in this facility are the Divisions of Forestry and State Lands, Water Rights, State Parks & Geological Survey.
The build materials used are reminiscent of the red rock so prevalent in the area and well as reflective of the DNR's image as a representative of the State of Utah and it's resources.
This facility which was designed based on the prototype which began in Price, Utah and was repeated in Vernal, Utah is unique because it is the first to have 2 levels. The walk in basement level which is currently unfinished will eventually house the Division of Wildlife Resources. This prototype concept will again be repeated in Richfield, Utah beginning in 2016, as well as Springville, Utah following that.
