We are pleased to announce that the Carbon County Courthouse & Administration Building has won it's second award. This one is the 2016 Best Government / Public Building Project Merit Award from the ENR Magazine publication. We are honored to have worked with such a great client in Carbon County as well as the Ascent Construction.
SPE Architect is proud to be working with our friends at Ascent Construction on the Design of their new headquarters which will be located in Farmington, Utah on the corner of Park Lane and Main Street. This beautiful new facility will provide Ascent Construction with expanded space to house their ever growing company. The project is expected to be complete by fall of 2016.
We're pleased to announce the recent completion and dedication of the New Department of Natural Resources Regional Office Building in Cedar City, Utah on September of 2015. This new facility will provide the community "one stop shopping" and access to the various departments of the DNR. This is the third of five DNR office buildings that SPE Architect has had the pleasure to work on in recent years. As of April of 2016 the other two announced facilities in Richfield and Springville Utah are in the design process.

We are thrilled to announce that the recently completed Carbon County Courthouse & Administration Building was featured in the July edition of the Utah Construction & Design Magazine. In December of 2015 the project was awarded the "Best Public Project Over $10 Million Dollars". On behalf our SPE Architect we would like to congratulate all that were involved in the success of this outstanding project, including Carbon County, the design consultants, Ascent Construction and all their subcontractors.
In 2012 the Northern Utah Interagency Fire Dispatch Center won an award in the ENR Magazine for the "Best Green Project". This project is LEED Gold Certified and stands as a model of sustainability, efficiency and best practices. We are grateful for the dedicated involvement of the Owners (DFCM, DNR, BLM & USFS), the entire design team, Ascent Construction and their subcontractors. This project was truly a collaborative effort.
In 2011 the new Carbon County Senior center won a merit award in the ENR Magazine for the "Best Government / Public Project". This project is a fantastic addition to the community and provides a comfortable and exciting location for Carbon County seniors to associate with one another, learn new skills and enjoy a fresh meal. This project was constructed by Ascent Construction and their fantastic subcontractor team.
